suk1.jpgPest solution brand Suk-a-Bug has launched a new campaign from Melbourne creative studio Yoke, promoting the launch of a new product in its range of inspect traps.

The Suk-a-Bug Mini is designed to rid people’s houses of mosquitos, flies and other flying insects. It plugs into a normal electrical socket and features small LED lights that attract bugs and a small reverse fan that sucks them into a compartments at the back of the machine where they remain. There are no chemicals, smells or noise and it’s safe for kids. These kind of products are used widely in Europe but have only recently been introduced to the Australian market.

Suk-a-bug-facebook_banner.jpgThe campaign’s short film from Melbourne independent film and video production company Tooth and Claw, follows the story of Nikolai, the famous inventor who conjured up the Suk-a-Bug Mini due to his hatred of the bugs.

Says Emma Rundle from Suk-a-Bug’s: “We’ve always wanted to position Suk-a-Bug differently from the other insect solution products on the market. The brand we created is fun and lighthearted so we wanted a campaign that was going to sit well with what we had and I think that the tale of Nikolai’s bug woes does just that.”
