Perth Zoo ‘Find your animal’ returns for 2010
The Perth Zoo ‘Find Your Animal’ radio campaign has returned for 2010, with new spots focusing on some of the lesser-known Zoo inhabitants (including a slender-bottomed Meerkat and a Tree Frog with unusual ocular concerns).
These new spots, from The Brand Agency, were written by Josh Edge and Rikki Burns (pictured), with direction from Ralph Van Dyke (Eardrum/Song Zu).
Last year’s ‘Find Your Animal’ campaign was one of Australia’s mostawarded radio campaigns of 2009, winning metal at the LondonInternational Awards, Clio and AWARD, and taking out the nationalSirens Awards’ Best Campaign honours.

Zombies are the best writers.
Nice job guys.
I never understood why the previous ads in this campaign were awarded last year (but congrats anyway). I really don’t think they’re particularly funny or relevant.
I mean a “get people to go to the zoo” brief is pretty f’n good. I think this campaign is highly overrated. Sorry guys, just my opinion.
I think this is a very clever effective campaign – it’s uncomplicated and to the point. These ads cuts through the retail radio clutter which surround them. As for humerous – the slender tailed meerkat ad was a total crack-up. Well done guys!
