Perfect peaches oust Oarsome Foursome in new campaign for Goulburn Valley Peaches via Host
Host, Sydney has created a new campaign for Goulburn Valley Peaches and, for the first time in 16 years, it will not feature the Oarsome Foursome.
Instead, the hero of the campaign will be Goulburn Valley Peaches themselves where they are playfully depicted as perfect and subject to the envy of many of the other products in the fridge and kitchen that aren’t as good.
The new campaign titled ‘Not everyone’s happy’ aims to make the brand feel more contemporary and establish Goulburn Valley Peaches as the gold standard.
Says Kacey Quinn, senior brand manager, Goulburn Valley says: “Many people forget that our packaged peaches are real Australian grown peaches, picked when perfectly ripe and can be enjoyed for occasions beyond dessert. We wanted a modern and flexible platform that could remind people of all these things.”
Says David Smith, creative director, The Jamboree: “The Oarsome Foursome always had a fun and quirky personality, we used this to create simple, funny, well-told stories that are a bit of a rarity in the world of packaged goods. The campaign should have real stand-out.”
The campaign will run from 31st July to 9th October in TV, OOH & instore media.

I still like “Bring On The Trumpets!!”
Why does the stapler care?
No Sam Neill or Oarsome Foursome necessary. Simple and sweet.
Wow the decline of host continues
Eggs saying “Kam-a-ka-zee”…. Great talent direction Ray.
These ads are dumb.
i think they’re cute, funny, simple, make you smile, i like ’em.
not only have i not seen these advertisements on tv, the egg suicide idea has already been done to death by cadbury with their cream eggs….. i find these messages uncreative, short-lived and unmemorable…. sorry guys
