PADC AGM: Perth ad creative community’s leadership team shares their vision for 2025

Perth’s creative community came together last Friday at Lawson Flats for the Perth Advertising and Design Club’s Annual General Meeting.
In a sold-out event, Club Co-Presidents Leigh Wood and Dan Agostino, alongside General Manager Laura Vulling and Club Patron René Migliore, reflected on the successes and learnings of the past year while sharing their vision for 2025.
The night set the stage for the year ahead with the announcement of the 2025 Skulls Awards theme, the launch of the Club’s new Artist in Residence program in partnership with North Metro TAFE, and a colourful breakdown of the Club’s financial health — complete with rainbow pie charts and a GIF-laden PowerPoint that added to the energy of the night.
The team also took the opportunity to thank the 2024 committee, celebrating their innovation, energy, and the way they championed the many facets of WA’s creative industry — all of which played a key role in the Club’s success over the past year.
Building on the momentum of an expanded Commune events calendar, vibrant networking gatherings, a growing PADCast audience, a standout Skulls Awards that placed creativity at its heart and a suite of new sponsorships, 2024 marked a year of significant growth in the Club’s operational strength and cultural impact. The AGM reflected that momentum and set a confident tone for the year ahead.
Looking ahead, the leadership group — Co-Presidents Dan and Leigh, General Manager Laura, and Patron René — will continue for another term. The 2025 Lead-Committee and Subcommittees are currently being finalised and will be announced in the coming month.
The celebrations continued upstairs at Luis’ Bar, where guests raised a glass (or two) at the first PADC-U-There drinks of the year.
Dan Agostino, PADC’s Co-President, said: “What a fantastic way to wrap up our first year at the Club! Standing alongside Leigh, Laura, and René, celebrating last year’s successes and being able to build on the legacy of a club deeply woven into the fabric of our industry, is truly special. It was a memorable night, and I’m excited for the year ahead.”
