Nice ad, really well crafted…..rare to see an ad that hasn’t been photoshopped to death.
Go Janelle! You rock!
Oh, and so does your ad!
Great ad ….it worked too, i was there and they sold over 6000 books.
Was Steve Janelle’s muse! The glasses make it a dead-set giveaway.
Saw it in the paper on Saturday and liked it. Gutsy to believe you could make it work. Well done.
Well put together. Well shot.
That’s one cool ad. Very jury friendly too.
good art, but what’s with that block of type?
Looks great, just Googled P.P. he was quite a character!
How cool that the paper liked it so much they ran it in Strewth as well: http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/opinion/shorten-smackdown/story-e6frgdk6-1225799912488
(Can’t see the pic online but they mention it in the text.)
I believe that block of type is where the ‘copy’ goes. ‘Copy’ is information about the ‘product’ and sometimes proves useful when trying to get people to ‘do’ something.
That is so cool and original. Go Steve & Janelle. Brilliant work.
Great piece in the Australian – when I go I’d like to be described as an imbiber too. Makes it sound terribly glamourous…
Nice work Steve & Janelle
Steve,
You need to start acting your age and stop doing work like this. You are making the rest of us “seniors” look bad. -Tim H
You’re not doing too bad yourself Timmy.
Looks like that early pickling did indeed preserve us.
Keep cracking them out Doddsy, it’s a gem.
This was circulated round the creative department here in London as an example of what you clever Aussies are up to now. Top ad.
Looks cool, i wish i’d done it.
