Officeworks helps Aussies make bigger things happen in new campaign via CHEP Network
Officeworks, in partnership with CHEP Network, has launched a new national campaign showcasing how its growing technology range is helping Australians make bigger things happen in their everyday lives.
The campaign, centered on a relatable family moment, features a family coming together to build a custom enclosure for their new guinea pig, all while playfully debating his name. From AI-enabled laptops to the latest smartphones and tablets, Officeworks’ tech range helps the family turn their idea into reality, resulting in a one-of-a-kind home for their new pet, Bruce.
The integrated campaign highlights how Officeworks continues to evolve with the needs of Australians, providing the technology that powers creativity, productivity, and connection in the modern world. It is the latest iteration of the brand’s long-running platform, “Make Bigger Things Happen,” and will run across TV, digital, and in-store channels.
Jessica Richmond, General Manager Customer and Online at Officeworks, says, “For 30 years, Officeworks has been helping Australians turn their ideas into action, and our technology range continues to be a big part of this. We’ve expanded our technology offering to ensure we’re providing the tools Australians need to stay connected and achieve more.”
Tian Murphy, Executive Creative Director at CHEP Network, added, “Australia is a nation full of hands-on doers, and as more people embrace technology in their everyday projects, we wanted to show how Officeworks helps to bring those ideas to life — even if it’s something as simple but special as creating a state-of-the-art home for a guinea pig.”
The campaign reinforces Officeworks’ commitment to supporting Australians with the technology they need to be creative, stay productive, and connect in meaningful ways.

Underdogs but make it Guinea
That was super average. Not sure why you’d bother PRing that.
There is a belief that all PR is good PR….and yet there are exception to the rule 🙂
That’s a super lame comment. Not sure why you’d bother typing that and summoning the effort required to hit ‘post comment’. And probably return to the page more than once to see if anyone has responded. R u ok?
This ad is super cute. What’s not to like about a family doing cute, crafty shit together to make a little castle for a shaggy rodent? As someone who’s spent a lot of time working on this account a good while back, let me say it’s no easy task getting a narrative concept across the line. Go Bruce.
This is fun to watch and unexpectedly heart warming. I like seeing stuff like this because it’s just a well styled ad with a clear strategy/insight and doesn’t need to be much more. Esp for retail brands like these who don’t wanna push the dial much. Guinea pig sales just went up 400% and so did MCM searches on FB marketplace
Traditionally Office Works seems to have done nothing but pure retail work so hats off to the client for buying into a storytelling route. This is charming.
Nice one. It’s charming. Elevates the brand. Job done.
This is not good. However it also looks like there was no budget.
