NOBBY TO JOIN DREAM TEAM JURY FOR INTERNATIONAL ANDY AWARDS
Saatchi & Saatchi Australia ECD David ‘Nobby’ Nobay has been picked by Leo Burnett worldwide CD, Mark Tutssel to join him on an all star jury for the International Andy Awards, owned by The Advertising Club of New York. The Andy’s will be judged in Buenos Aires next year. This is the first time an Australian has been asked and looking at the list, undoubtedly, one of the most prestigeous international line-ups of Judges ever:

Whats with these bloody awards, Do any of these guys do any work for there agencies, seems they are always at an award party, judging some shallow event, drinking piss and laying around in hotels doing sweet FA. I wonder if the MD’s of these angencies actually take note of all the wasted down time and creative head hours lost. All for the sake of self gratification. No wonder singo’s have more clients than GOD!Even though NOBBY is a super creative fucker and does deserve this as reward for his great work in advertising…..but man!…there is a limit to the wank for many of these (must get my pic in the mag) award junkies.Sorry not to leave a name NOB, I work to close to your empire to get my head chopped off by saying what everyone thinks….Thats called cowardly self preservation by the way.
