New blood challenges Brisbane ad execs

BLOOD-TRANSFUSIONlogo-web.jpgYoungbloods Queensland will be challenging advertising executives from agencies across Brisbane in their very own ‘Blood Transfusion’ panel show on Wednesday 6 October at The Zoo.

Youngbloods is a network that brings together young professionals working and studying in the advertising, marketing and media industries to share ideas and experiences.

Chairperson of Youngbloods Queensland, Mark Krebs wanted to deliver anevent that gave young professionals the opportunity to openly andintellectually discuss advertising with some of the industry’s top names:”The Blood Transfusion is an opportunity for us to showcase theprofessionalism and creativity of the Queensland advertising industryto a younger generation.

“I have been overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and support shown by some ofQueensland’s biggest and most innovative agencies to be a part of ourshow.”

Agencies participating in The Blood Transfusion include Remy Brassac ofClemenger BBDO, Nancy Hartley of SapientNitro, Adam Penberthy of Freshand Rob Hudson of George Patterson Y&R.

Remy Brassac, client services director at Clemenger BBDO is lookingforward to testing his advertising knowledge and skills against hisfellow Brisbane executives: “Most of us pitch against each other everyday for new business, however, this is done in a very formal andisolated environment, so it will be interesting to do this in a fun andinteractive environment,” says Brassac.
