MYOB helps soloists ‘Do Less App Switching’ in new campaign for MYOB’s Solo Money
Solo by MYOB – the all-in-one admin app for sole operators – has unveiled a new campaign to launch Solo Money, a new embedded finance feature that brings banking and admin together.
Building on its “Do Less Work Work” creative platform, the newest instalment encourages soloists to “Do Less App Switching”, showcasing how Solo Money stops sole operators from juggling separate banking and admin apps.
In Australia there are 1.6 million sole operators, yet only about one-third (34%) use accounting software, and 75% don’t have a dedicated business bank account. Providing a built-in business transaction account inside the Solo by MYOB app removes the need for app switching, enabling customers to manage banking and admin in one place.
The extensive integrated campaign, developed by MYOB’s in-house agency and agency village, is rolling out across a broad range of channels to reach sole operators where they do business, including a Grand Final weekend takeover of the iconic Nylex Silos, vibrant tram wraps in Sydney and Melbourne, linear TV supplemented by BVOD, digital and social, audio and partnerships.
Says Gab McKenzie, GM of Brand and Marketing at MYOB: “Sole operators are some of the hardest-working people out there, and they’ve already got a lot on their plate. The last thing they need is to spend valuable time jumping between banking and admin apps.
“With the introduction of Solo Money, Solo by MYOB can now bring those tasks together in one app. It’s about giving sole operators the headspace to focus on the real work, not the ‘work work’.”
