Milla McPhee returns to Australia for ANZ + regional strategy role at Accenture Song

Accenture Song has brought in Milla McPhee in a key ANZ and regional strategy role.

Working across the ANZ and growth markets, McPhee joins with a remit to help drive purpose fuelled growth for clients across Song’s offerings in communications, design, build and intelligence.

McPhee returns home from the UK where she worked client side for Amazon as head of brand and creative strategy. Prior to this, she was head of strategy and planning at adam&eveDDB UK, while winning the simultaneous ‘triple crown’ of Effie, IPA and APG Agency of the Year, as well as Cannes Lions Agency of the Year. She also spent five years as a senior strategist at Droga5 in Sydney and New York.

With an academic background in behavioural science, McPhee is armed with experience creating and growing some of the world’s most iconic brands across all industry verticals — including retail, government, FMCG, travel and tech — in the US, Europe and APAC. After eight years abroad, McPhee is excited to return home to Australia.

Says McPhee: “It’s one thing to have brilliant and disruptive ideas but it’s entirely another to make them happen. Song has the capability to not only build brands with purpose, but to help them realise it for their customers too.

“With its progressive vision for the future of the creative industry, Song really is second to none — not to mention they’re just excellent people. I can’t wait to get stuck into building what’s next in ANZ, Asia and beyond.”

Says Mark Green, president, Accenture Song ANZ: “With her track record for driving growth for some of the world’s leading brands, Milla will make a valuable addition to our leadership team. We are eager to help shape our clients’ expansion across the ANZ and growth markets, and she is the perfect partner to help us achieve our ambitious goals.”
