MIK Studio promotes Brent Lim to general manager

Creative powerhouse MIK Studio has today announced the promotion of Brent Lim to general manager after five years with the company.

The move comes alongside the expansion of their existing facilities to deliver a premium service to its growing roster of domestic and global clients, that includes Spotify, Reese’s, Warner Music, News Corp, ARN, and more.

Says Adam Callen, founder of MIK Studio: “MIK Studio is a space where creatives from all walks of life can thrive. We’re a diverse group with a fresh unconventional viewpoint driven purely by the need to create compelling, distinctive content.

“The last few years have seen MIK Studio build strong and trusting relationships with key clients. These relationships are forged off the back of our ability to consistently deliver on creative expectations. Brent has been instrumental in this, and we are stoked to promote him to general manager.

“With the talent and facilities we have in-house, we are well-equipped to support the needs of our clients and provide a seamless end-to-end creative experience, both in Australia and on a global scale.”

Says Lim on work he is proud of: “We have a long relationship with Spotify and work on a variety of verticals with them in the US, UK, AU, Asia and Europe, including recent project in the UK with Saatchi & Saatchi and British Heart Foundation called life saving beats that saw us use our love of music to educate.”

When asked what creative he rates in market, Lim said: “On a global stage, Netflix are the pinnacle in shaping culture, the campaign that they did late last year in Melbourne where they opened a pub was beyond brilliant.

“Looking inward, MIK is all about amplifying culture. This year, we’re taking it a step further by supporting youth creatives at the forefront of culture in a really authentic way. We will be launching the next stage of MIK soon, so watch this space.”
