Melbourne City Football Club asks ‘Are you city to the core?’ in new OOH campaign via Blood UTD
Like most Melburnians, Melbourne City FC is deeply proud and passionate about its home city. It’s Melbourne to the core. So for the 2017/18 season’s membership drive, Blood UTD has created a campaign that speaks to this city-pride. And encourages Melburnians to become part of a club that live and play for the city.
The OOH campaign, shot by football photographer, Aleksandar Jason, features some of the top players from the club including Tim Cahill and Bruno Fornaroli, as well as rising stars like Daniel Arzani.
Melbourne City’s A-League season kicks off October 6th against the Brisbane Roar.

More True Detective rip offs.. can we stop now please?
Special interest agencies…all of them…seem to struggle.
Think of the specialists in ‘retail’.
Specialists in ‘advertising to women’.
Specialist ‘content creators’.
And now, specialists in ‘sports marketing’.
All, inevitably, become specialists in creating myopically-focussed shit.
You need to broaden the scope and the range and calibre of influence, learning from one category and applying to to another. The creative skills are honed by wearing lots of different shoes and hats…getting to understand humanity and psychology from all perspectives.
Advertising is one of the few realms in life where the day-dreaming generalist still has the edge.
@does this business model work
Matey, you have no idea who runs Blood. No idea the amazing experience these people have – at the very top level, a global level, with the biggest sports brands in the world.
I don’t think they need to do anything but play their own game.
To Business model person, we’re pretty happy working on what we love. Hopefully one day you find the same satisfaction. David
