McCann Health Sydney picks up 6 gongs at IPA Best of Health Awards in London last night

mccann.jpgMcCann Health Sydney has continued its winning streak, picking up six gongs at the IPA Best of Health Awards in London last night (Thursday 28 June). for a diverse group of clients.

The Sydney office won the following six awards: Local Innovation Special Prize category: ‘Shaping Futures’, Invega Sustenna for Janssen; bronze in Healthcare Professional, Press Campaign category: ‘Doodles’, Effexor XR for Pfizer; bronze in Healthcare Professional, Press Campaign category: ‘Confident Days’, Viagra for Pfizer; bronze in Healthcare Professional, Mixed Media Campaign category: ‘Sponge Toast’, Actonel  EC for Sanofi; bronze in Consumer, Individual Press category: ‘Toilet Roll’, Viagra Unbranded for Pfizer and bronze in Healthcare Professional, Print Sales Material category: ‘Sponge Toast’, Actonel EC for Sanofi.

The ‘Shaping Futures’ campaign, which won the coveted Innovation award, was a successful launch for Janssen into the Australian market of Invega Sustenna, a drug developed for patients with schizophrenia to take control of their lives and shape their future. For the campaign, McCann Health built a plasticine world bringing to life the drug’s ability to reshape lives.

This year’s IPA tally follows last year’s haul by McCann Health Sydney, which included Best in Show in the Healthcare Professional category among other gongs.

 

McCann Health was Australia’s most awarded healthcare agency in 2010 and 2011, and looks set to repeat that performance in 2012.

Now in their 17th year, the IPA Best of Health Awards showcase the best creativity in the healthcare advertising sector across all media. This year’s awards attracted 406 entries from around the globe.
