M&C Saatchi Melbourne wins Slater & Gordon
M&C Saatchi Melbourne has been appointed by leading Australian law firm Slater & Gordon to provide fully integrated marketing communications and strategy following a competitive pitch.
M&C Saatchi Melbourne managing director Jo Rozario said securing Slater & Gordon was a great start to the year.
Says Rozario: “Slater & Gordon is an iconic law firm, one of the largest, most established and highly regarded in Australia with plans for UK growth.
We are thrilled and excited to be chosen as a partner to help them realise the many goals they have for their brand.”
The pitch comprised four invited agencies, who were asked to develop a creative direction for the brand amid an overall architecture strategy.
M&C Saatchi Melbourne creative director Doogie Chapman said it was pleasing the creative concepts presented were received with “such enthusiasm” by the team at Slater & Gordon.
Says Chapman: “There was a lot of aligned thinking and we can’t wait to get our teeth stuck into the work.”
Slater & Gordon general manager, marketing & business development Kalle Amanatides said: “We were looking for a fruitful partnership with an agency that can grow with our company – we are excited about the future with M&C Saatchi Melbourne.
They put forward a compelling case that comprised some very strong creative ideas inspired by an extremely well-considered, well-researched strategy.”
The win comes hot on the heels of M&C Saatchi’s appointment to Australia’s largest bank, Commonwealth Bank (on Friday) and follows M&C Saatchi Melbourne’s appointment by CPA Australia to provide full service creative in October.
