M+C Saatchi head of group marketing + comms Amanda Quested departs after nearly eight years

Amanda Quested has departed M+C Saatchi Group, where she most recently served as head of group marketing and communications.
Quested initially joined the agency in 2018 as managing partner, leading the CommBank and CommSec accounts across the M+C Saatchi Group. She oversaw the agency’s response to the Royal Commission into banking misconduct, guiding CommBank’s brand recovery.
In 2022, she transitioned into a group leadership role, responsible for marketing and new business across Australia and New Zealand, while also contributing to M+C Saatchi’s global senior leadership team. Her remit included driving growth, brand positioning, and exploring innovative sustainability solutions and generative AI to support strategic and creative impact across the business.
Originally from the UK, Quested began her career at BBH London, working across categories including automotive, financial services, FMCG, and alcohol. During that time, she launched the world’s first branded content channel for Audi UK and led Unilever’s Pan-European Bertolli account, earning multiple effectiveness accolades.
Her Australian agency experience includes stints at Leo Burnett, where she led award-winning work for Samsung, McDonald’s, Suncorp, Big W and Twinings, along with leadership roles at Host and Hourigan International.
