M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ appoints Najla Haddad to newly created role of chief product officer
M&C Saatchi Group AUNZ has appointed Najla Haddad to the newly created role of chief product officer.
Haddad will be leading the CBA client relationship team across the Group as part of her appointment, while also leading the Group’s CX product suite, to provide an even more connected agency experience for clients.
Haddad started her career in Australia with WPP and spent nearly a decade with Ogilvy both in Sydney and New York. For the past 11 years, whilst in the US, Haddad led teams and clients at VMLY&R and Digitas.
Her most recent role, as a lead for the WPP agency for Walgreens ‘The Pharm’, was focussed on customer experience, mass personalisation and the myWalgreens program.
Says Justin Graham, group CEO at M&C Saatchi Group: “Najla is a brilliant addition to our Group Executive team as we continue to bring the best original thinkers and specialists together to realise big ambitions for our clients. She has worked for some of the world’s most progressive brands in one of the most competitive markets in the world, and now will spearhead the continued investment in our customer and CX product suite.
“We could not be more thrilled that she has joined M&C Saatchi Group on her return to Australian shores.”
Says Haddad: “I’m delighted to be joining the M&C Saatchi Group at a time when digital transformation is front and centre. I’m passionate about building brands through exceptional experiences and am confident that the team and I will take the customer-first capabilities at the group to the next level for our clients.”
During her time at VMLY&R Haddad was a core member of the WPP Team RedFuse Global ExCo, responsible for initiatives such as data-driven digital marketing transformation and talent transformation, which impacted both client and the agency organisations.
While at Digitas North America Haddad was executive vice president, and served as Publicis Groupe lead for Delta, overseeing Digitas, Moxie and Sapient teams.
Haddad will be based in the M&C Saatchi Group Sydney office.
