Matt Walker promoted to global ECD of Cowan network, Tim Warren to CD of Cowan, Melbourne

Matt Walker.jpgLeading Australian branding and design company Cowan has announced its first global creative role, plus a new creative director for its Melbourne business. Cowan Melbourne’s creative director, Matt Walker has been promoted to a newly-created global role of executive creative director, operating out of Melbourne, and heading up its global team of creative directors across Cowan offices in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia, China and Europe.

In this new role Walker, who has been with Cowan for 18 years, willfocus on ensuring the consistent delivery of Cowan’s design philosophyin all markets. He will provide creative thought leadership and insightfor Cowan’s creative teams internationally as well as working on globalpitches, staff mentoring and as a senior resource on key projects.

Warren has produced commercially successful, award-winning work acrosshigh profile FMCG and corporate brands over his 20-year career inbranding and design.

 

He has worked with a wide range of global clients across Europe and theAsia Pacific region including Nestle, Procter & Gamble, Diageo,Telstra, Hasbro Europe, The Boots Company (UK), Glaxo SmithKline andGillette UK, helping to evolve, extend and re-invent their brands.

 

Prior to Landor, Warren spent eight years with Lewis Kahn Stanford inSydney after moving from Smith & Milton Original agency inLondon.  

 

Warren and his family have relocated from Sydney to Melbourne for this role.
