Aussie expat Mark Ringer joins McCann Worldgroup Singapore as Executive Creative Director
McCann Worldgroup Singapore has lured Aussie expat Mark Ringer from Dentsu Singapore to the ECD role. He also takes the APAC Regional Creative Director role of Mastercard
Ringer has worked in Melbourne, Sydney, Hong Kong and London, for agencies including TBWA, DDB, FCB, Batey Ads and Anthem.
A multi award-winner in shows ranging from D&AD and Cannes Lions to the Effies, Ringer has experience across several key verticals, working on leading brands such as Shangri-La, Visa, Huawei, Swire Hotels, adidas, Levi’s, Canon, Unilever, Amex, Volkswagen and Honda.
Ringer is a past President of the Melbourne Advertising and Design Club (MADC), a former Vice Chair of the HK4As. And author of ‘The Leap’ a book about the philosophies of creative companies.
He said he was thrilled to join McCann: “There are rich veins of talent and opportunity I will be looking to develop and build upon. It is a network that has created much iconic work over the past decade and being network of the year at Cannes in 2019 is testament to the nascent ambition”. “I relish the prospect of working on a brand in Mastercard that is both established and trusted and yet is a bleeding edge technology brand.”
Nick Handel, CEO, McCann Worldgroup Singapore, added: “Creativity is at the core of both our business and our ambition. Mark’s leadership and creative vision will help us power forward in our position as both Campaign Asia’s Integrated Agency of the Year and the world’s most creatively effective marketing services network.”
