MADC Showcase+Party tickets now on sale for iconic 70th celebration; launches anniversary showcase with 120 take single shot film

Melbourne Advertising, Design & Creativity (MADC) is kicking off its 70th anniversary year by announcing the MADC Showcase is back for 2025 at Melbourne’s historic Forum Theatre on May 30, with tickets now available. To launch this year’s platform of Persistence Pays a single shot film was created that took 120 takes to achieve.

Says Matt Lawson & Simon Thomas, MADC Co-Presidents: “Sometimes you just have to stick with it. We’re a small volunteer creative organisation that through persistence, and the constant support of Melbourne, have been able to stay alive for seven decades. So, we’d like to celebrate our 70th year, and, the idea of persistence. Because let’s be honest, great ideas go nowhere without it.”

Says Hannah Cleary, MADC Director of Major Events: “It’s a historic year for the MADC Showcase, and so, for the first time, we’d like to take it seriously…and put on a real show. No more live piercings, no more prosthetics or firework guns, we’re growing up. We’re 70. So, dress special and let’s party like the adults (who work in a very serious industry) that we are. This one is going to be great.”

Tickets are limited and sell fast so book now or risk missing out on what promises to be an iconic night of great work, live entertainment, and even better people. Doors open 6pm until midnight, creative showcase commences at 7pm sharp. Food (cocktail style) and drinks provided throughout the night.
