How is he eligible? The Fabulous Four is for new directors. Sam is not a new director.
Fab Four Submission Form:
I certify that the short film, if produced, will be one of the first 7 films ever directed by the Director whose name is listed above. Films include short films, commercials, virals, or anything else directed in their career as a Director
By my reckoning, Sam’s Reel to date:
1. Sony
2.. Sparkadia Music Clip
3.The Gruen Transfer
4. Young Guns
5. Chartered Accountants
6. Coke “Wally”
7. Josh Pyke Music clip
8. UN
Half of these spots are are specs and don’t count. At least Sam’s getting out there and actually making stuff, paid for or not. He’s an awesome director. Good on you mate!!
Tony, you forgot to include:
– ‘Bronte’s Hands’ – a stop-motion animation he made in Year 9
– the footage he shot at his old man’s 60th
F*ck off you idiot.
Well done Sam!
It is the rules of the contest, and that needs to be addressed.
which ones were spec? all of them?
