Luscious director Sebastien wins a Golden Tripod at 2010 ACS Awards for Samantha Wills TVC
Award winning Luscious director Sebastien’s recent ‘Samantha Wills’ “Every Moment” TVC won The Golden Tripod award at the 2010 Australian Cinematographers Society National Awards. This emotive TVC, shot by cinematographer Callan Green, profilesSamantha Wills’ exquisite jewellery designs and transports the audiencethrough an enchanting visual landscape.
Held at the Victorian Arts Centre, the ACS Awards are the peak awardsthat celebrate the art of moving image photography in Australia. TheGolden Tripod Award is the highest award in the Local and Regional TVCcategory. The award ceremony will later be screened on the MovieNetwork Channel.
Sebastien’s body of work is diverse andincludes work with clients such as Standard Chartered Bank, Mars,Sanofi Pastuer, Youth Alcohol Council and Emphysema Australia just toname a few. Sebastien is familiar with picking up covetedcinematography awards; he already has a clutch of gold and silvers fromthe Australian Cinematography Awards.
Sebastien is also one ofthe collaborative directors including Sam Bryant, Ant McPhail headingup Viscious, the new media and branded content production arm ofLuscious international.

Also I think someone has misspelled his first name – Sebastian.

9:47 PM. You are correct, the award has been given for cinematography. However a Director is ultimately responsible for all decisions and choices made on set. Accordingly, accolades go to both the Director and the Cinematographer.
12:32 AM. Director. In the many years I have been Directing, I have enjoyed the support and friendship of many of my peers, both competitors and stable mates alike. None that I know have found it necessary to snipe snidely from the sideline. If you are indeed a Director, it disheartens me that you are now a part of our group. If you feel that my judgement on this matter is unfair , I welcome you to say so openly. Anonymity is the refuge of cowards and scoundrels.
