Longtail Sydney wins ‘Human Rights Defender’ project from Amnesty International Australia
Longtail has won a competitive pitch for Sydney based Amnesty International’s first ‘Human Rights Defender’ campaign.
Launching in September 2015, the national acquisition campaign will run across all digital channels, including a significant social and audience data strategy.
Amnesty’s ‘Human Rights Defender’ campaign follows Longtail’s recent real-time Social campaign for Amnesty, synchronised with the SBS broadcast of ‘Go Back To Where You Came From’. The tactical campaign across Facebook and Twitter resulted in a huge uplift of user engagement and interest from the social audience.
“This win is a great endorsement of our model and we are excited to be working with a global brand of Amnesty’s stature and integrity, ” said Carlo Bertozzi, CEO & Founder of Longtail (pictured).
“Amnesty described our response to the brief as ‘…extremely comprehensive, exciting and responsive to our vision for the project,'” said Bertozzi.
Longtail has evolved into a unique combination of creative agency and trading desk over the last seven years, and continues bringing the world of brand engagement and data together in new and powerful ways.
“Obviously Amnesty is an incredibly exciting client for us to work on for a range of reasons, not least of which is the great work they do for so many people around the world and within Australia,” said Josh Edge, Creative Director. “I can’t wait for our team to start rolling out some really unique charity work for Amnesty and (hopefully!) start making a difference to people’s lives.
