Live Love Work Port Phillip celebrates the women of Port Phillip in new campaign via The Incubator

Live Love Work Port Phillip is sharing the stories of 25 women in celebration of International Women’s Day. Each day, they will share the story of a different women with a connection and passion for Port Phillip, as part of new campaign via The Incubator.

 

Says Alison McDowell, co-founder, Live Love Work Port Phillip: “Sharing our people’s stories for International Women’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the eclectic, entrepreneurial, unique and diversity of the women of Port Phillip. We’re sharing their passions and connection to Port Phillip though telling their story and shining a light on this great place where everyone is welcome, and our community is the collective of people who live, love visiting, work and run businesses.h

Women whose stories are being shared include Joanne Watkins, organiser of Albert Melbourne parkrun and advocate of health, wellness, and connection benefits of parkrun. Sarah Hunt, CEO The National Melbourne in St Kilda who is passionate about where she works, women being valued and equality. And Elly Aswin, Head chef Barkers Food Store in South Melbourne who believes that food is the language of love, and it doesn’t matter where you come from, we all speak the same language through food.

Port Phillip businesswomen Vesna Grdjan and Alison McDowell co-founded Live Love Work Port Phillip in 2019 as a conduit to build business and social connections, and help shine a light on Port Phillip, it’s people and businesses so as its community is prosperous in every sense of the word.

Live Love Work Port Phillip will be sharing the inspiring stories of the Port Phillip women through until International Women’s Day on 8th March. People can follow Live Love Work Port Phillip across their socials, and encouraged to help them lift their voice to a ROAR this International Women’s Day.
