Lindsay Bennett set to depart Clemenger BBDO to lead global communications + content at Ideally

Ideally, the New Zealand research platform transforming how brands create with their customers, has appointed Lindsay Bennett as Global Communications and Content Lead. The appointment comes as Ideally accelerates its international expansion and deepens its presence across key global markets.

The appointment reflects Ideally’s ambition to redefine how brands connect with audiences, as demand surges for faster, more inclusive consumer insight solutions.

Bennett will work closely with Global Head of Marketing, Michaela Egbers, to define the company’s brand direction, strengthen its reputation, and drive awareness across new and existing regions.

Bennett brings extensive global communications and marketing leadership experience spanning agencies in Australia and the US. She joins Ideally following an eight month stint at Clemenger BBDO, where she held the role of Head of Brand and Communications leading the agency’s repositioning following the integration of Clemenger BBDO, CHEP Network, and Traffik.

Previously, she served as Vice President of Corporate Communications at GALE in New York, where she led marketing, communications, and new business efforts across North America. During her tenure, GALE was named Ad Age A-List Agency and Adweek Breakthrough Media Agency of the Year.

A former journalist, Bennett also held the role of Global Head of Marketing at DDB, where she led the network’s first global repositioning and oversaw communications across 149 offices worldwide.

“Lindsay is an exceptional communicator who understands how to build momentum through storytelling,” says Egbers. “Her ability to connect brand narrative to business growth will be invaluable as we expand Ideally’s global footprint.”

“I’m excited to join Ideally at such a pivotal moment,” says Bennett. “This is the type of company that is defining what’s next for marketing, combining technology, creativity and insights to help brands grow smarter. I can’t wait to share that story on the global stage.”

Bennett’s appointment follows Ideally’s recent North American launch and the addition of Nikkia Reveillac, former Global Head of Research at Twitter and Head of Brand & Reputation Insights at Netflix, as Fractional Chief Brand & Strategy Officer.
