L-R Sabir Samtani, David Easton-web.jpgSydney-based Lighthouse Interactive and the V Project today announced the official rebrand of the two agencies as a single entity, forming Reborn, now one of Australia’s fastest-growing, full-service digital agencies.

The two agencies have worked together collaboratively for the past three years enjoying continued growth and significant new business wins, doubling their turnover year-on-year for 2009 and 2010, with similar expectations predicted for 2011. The rebrand as a single entity is expected to strengthen the business further and increase the company’s growing presence within the digital media space.

Now with 23 staff, Reborn boasts an impressive client portfolio of big brands and a reputation for creating engaging and measurable connections between brands and consumers. The company recently won the business of Estee Lauder and the ASX, adding to the existing client list which includes Colgate Palmolive, Club Med, Coty, Fairfax Digital, L’Oreal Group, Mirvac, Novartis, Revlon and Tourism Ireland.

“After three years establishing a reputable client base and strong portfolio as two separate agencies, merging under the Reborn banner in 2011 signals the next phase of growth for our company and cements our team as a united force in Australia’s digital landscape,” said David Easton (above right), director of Reborn and founder of Lighthouse Interactive.

Reborn founders Easton and Samtani represent a new breed of young and savvy tech-entrepreneurs that share a common passion and flair for using digital media as the bridge between a brand and its audience.

The company also plans to grow its media arm with the appointment of a dedicated media manager, for which the company is currently recruiting.

Then aged 25, Easton established Lighthouse Interactive in 2006, providing digital creative services to a range of SME clients, later moving on to work with larger brands including Fairfax Digital, ASX Investor Education and Voltaren.

Samtani established the V Project in 2007 when he was 27, with a focus on guiding Australia’s beauty industry into the digital space. Within a year, the V Project was working with some of the industry’s biggest names including Lancôme and other major fragrance houses. The company also made strong inroads into the tourism sector, securing clients including The French Tourist Board and Rail Europe.

Easton and Samtani are focused on continuing to expand Reborn’s business, while maintaining a positive and vibrant internal culture for the company.

“Despite our rapid growth, we are very proud of our high staff retention rate, with only three members of staff moving on in three years,” said Samtani. “Our vision has always been to produce insightful and effective work for our clients, while injecting integrity, hard work and passion into every piece of work we produce,” he said.
