Lewis Communications delivers festive message with AI-driven short film ‘Simple Wish’
In the lead-up to Christmas, Campaign Brief is shining a spotlight on the season’s most anticipated campaigns from around the globe. As these campaigns roll out, we’ll be rounding up the highlights to keep you in the loop.
US-based advertising and marketing agency Lewis Communications has created a Christmas short film that doubles as its festive message to its clients, partners and staff.
Titled ‘Simple Wish’, the short film reimagines the agency holiday card through animation, using a blend of AI-powered tools to deliver a polished, character-led piece inspired by classic animated Christmas films. The work includes a series of industry-referential moments, from strategic planner elves and focus groups to robots and yetis, designed as a light-touch nod to agency life during the festive season.
The film was developed by a small creative team at Lewis Communications, using an in-house script. Characters and scenes were generated using Gemini, animated via Google Labs’ Flow (Veo 3.1 with audio), with voiceover produced through ElevenLabs and final assembly completed in Adobe After Effects.
The film will be distributed across Lewis Communications’ email network and organic social channels as the agency’s 2025 holiday greeting.
