Less Than 10% F*ck That launches ‘The Fee Speech’ to tackle unpaid labour on International Women’s Day in new campaign via Clemenger BBDO

Every year, corporations around the world host International Women’s Day events—but many still expect women to speak at them for free. Given the vast amount of unpaid labour women already contribute, Clemenger BBDO and Less Than 10% F*ck That have launched The Fee Speech, a free presentation designed to help women push back against these requests.

The initiative provides a ready-made speech that women can use to educate audiences on the issue while highlighting the need for fair compensation. To promote the campaign, a social video featuring respected journalist, broadcaster, writer and former award-winning advertising creative Jane Caro AM calls out organisations profiting from IWD without paying women for their contributions.

The campaign also includes a poster that doubles as a script for women who have been asked to speak for free. Supported by Less Than 10% F*ck That, a community advocating for female creative leadership, The Fee Speech aims to shift the conversation around women’s work and ensure their time and expertise are valued year-round.
