Leo Burnett Sydney bolsters creative department with hire of Zaid Al-Asady from Mother, London

Campaign Brief 522.pngLeo Burnett Sydney has snared Zaid Al-Asady to the role of creative/art director, luring him from Mother London.

During his time at Mother, Al-Asady was heavily involved in the acclaimed Beck’s Green Box

Project, as well as working on some of the agency’s largest accounts including Stella Artoisand Ikea.

Says Leo Burnett Sydney’s chief creative officer, Andy DiLallo: “It is fantastic to have Zaid on board. Before making the move to Mother, Al-Asady spent a number of years as a creative/art director at Wieden+Kennedy, London where he played a key role in award winning integrated work on brands like Nike and Nokia.

At Leo’s, he will be working alongside award-winning creative director Kieran Ots, who was most recently responsible for the highly awarded Spotlight campaign for the 2011 Census, winner of AdFest’s coveted Gold Cyber Lotus.
