Larchmont appoints Luke Kneller as new Australasian head of production

Independent production company Larchmont has appointed Sydney based producer Luke Kneller to the role of head of production across the region.

Fresh off the set of the post-apocalyptic Mad Max prequel “Furiosa”, followed by a sell-out nationwide cinema screening of the adventure surf film “The corners of the earth”, Kneller brings a unique set of experiences to the world of commercial film production.

Says Ngaio McCreadie, managing partner, Larchmont: “We couldn’t be more pleased to officially welcome Luke to the fold. He’s just about the nicest and most capable guy around, and I know he will do a terrific job of supporting our growing list of directorial talent and agency partners alike.”

Kneller’s appointment follows the signing of directors Dan Emmerson, Fern Berresford and Van Alpert, who now sit alongside Noah Marshall and Nacho Gayan on the Larchmont roster.

Kneller formally signs with Larchmont after producing a number of projects for the company throughout 2022.

Says Noah Marshall, founding partner, Noah Marshall: “Luke and I have worked together on a handful of great jobs over the last 12 months, he’s already made a huge impact on the business and I’m excited to see what he’s going to bring next.”
