La Porchetta launches new re-branding in TVC and campaign via the Bendalls Group
Australia’s Italian-style restaurant group La Porchetta, is launching new branding today via the Bendalls Group.
The new look pays tribute to La Porchetta’s origins, evoking the style of 1950’s Italy. The theme is warm, engaging and reflects the brand’s family values, with home-style recipe demonstrations and “behind the scenes” moments with restaurateurs and staff.
La Porchetta CEO Sara Pantaleo says, “Our company was built on a family ethic and culture and we haven’t compromised that as the brand has grown. The new branding conveys our commitment to a warm, Italian-style experience for all our customers and a great business offering for our franchisees and staff.”
The Bendalls Group team was led by Fi Bendall with creative by Chris Muir, development by Andrew Seidel, film direction by Serena Ryan, editing by Gaetano Mazza and music by Serge Stanley.

there ya go kids, that’s the way advertising should be done. in 1980.
Besta Ada Iya seena ina years!
Cough…I’ll preface this by saying “heck, everyone’s a marketing expert”, but gee, could you get any more amateur-looking? The concept isn’t bad – but the execution leaves a heck of a lot to be desired!
Why is everyone in this ad FAT?
Relatives?
Why is this even being PRd, let alone on a respected industry creative blog?
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Uhhhmmm. Why is this here? Jeez next we’ll be seeing regional ads with a super revision . . . ?
Point of order mate, that should be “respected creative industry blog”. (And in any case, “respected” and “industry” can’t be placed side-by-side if you work in advertising.)
On the commercial front, whoever suggested showing the food in colour while the rest stayed black & white (so it would “pop”, I’m guessing) needs to rethink that. It has exactly the opposite effect, and just makes the food look pasted on. (Pasta-d on?)
Che porcheria!
Very much enjoyed the creative agency’s instructional video on “the death of television”

This kind of shit is killing it.
Hey ‘branding expert’, what is the concept exactly?
A true visionary in our midst.

I’ve seen financial fine print for a shonky product last on screen longer than the super at the end.
If you’re going to rebrand something, it helps to let people see the new brand.
“respected Industry creative blog”?!!??
That is the funniest thing I have ever read
Ha ha ha.mate it is slop bucket.
A hate forum of poorly considered, badly written
Drivel pretending to be unbiased critical comment.
Glad Rocky’s not alive to see this!

If this is the result of Bendall Groups thinking and creative flair then I can see why Fi is predicting the death of everything.. crap like this hot mess won’t be doing it any good that’s for sure… looks like a bunch of kids did it as a project. Guess it shows you what happens when the digital people say .. “TV sure we can do that too… easy”
