Kraken Black Spiced Rum’s The Darkest Show returns via Mango Communications

Back for a second year, Aussies once again delved into the shadows and embraced an evening of twisted humour with The Kraken Presents: The Darkest Show created in conjunction with Mango Communications.

The Kraken Black Spiced Rum hosted The Darkest Show to a sold-out crowd at Mary’s Underground in Sydney on 10th July and The Night Cat in Melbourne on 17th July.

Teaming up with MC & comedian Daniel Muggleton to host the event, the lineup featured Greg Larsen, Anne Edmonds and Rhys Nicholson, who took to the stage with their darkest and most twisted humour performed to date for a truly comedic experience.

Says Nicholson: “I, like basically all comedians, have a pathological need to tell rooms of strangers my most uncomfortable thoughts. I can’t help but blurt out everything I find in the deep, dark chasm of my brain. Luckily Australian audiences have a particular forte in finding humour over on the darker sides of life. Performing at the Darkest show, presented by The Kraken, with this genuinely incredible lineup was an absolute barn burner.”

Attendees were treated to a menu that perfectly complemented the evening’s atmosphere. Sydney attendees were served The Kraken Burger and Jerk Chicken with Kraken Hot Sauce, while those who attended the Melbourne show were treated to charcoal tortilla tacos by Dingo Ate My Taco. An Espresso Rumtini on arrival was included in the ticket price and a suite of premix drinks from The Kraken Black Spiced Rum were available to buy.
