Kmart appoints Clemenger BBDO as new creative agency

Clemenger BBDO has been appointed as Kmart’s new creative agency, securing the account following a competitive pitch process.

The win is a significant milestone for the newly created Clemenger BBDO, which recently announced its integration with CHEP Network and Traffik. Under the leadership of CEO Lee Leggett, the agency will handle brand and key retail campaigns for the Wesfarmers-owned retailer.

Dentsu Creative, which previously handled the account and has worked with Kmart on and off for over a decade, opted not to re-pitch. The agency originally won the business in 2022 after taking over from DDB Melbourne, which had secured it in 2020. Before that, BWM Dentsu led the account for 10 years.
