KFC drops limited-edition Chrissy jumpers for Aussies and fur babies in new campaign via Ogilvy

KFC has dropped limited-edition Christmas in July Jumpers for Aussies and their four-legged bestie in a new promotion via Ogilvy Australia.
The campaign was developed by Ogilvy Australia alongside Ogilvy PR, MediaCom and Geometry.
First released for humans in 2021, KFC fans sleigh-ed in these iconic knits. But, because pets are part of the family, KFC knew something was missing: a matching Christmas in July Jumper for Aussies’ numero uno floof. So, this July, ‘tis the season for these sweaters to make a highly anticipated comeback. Only this time, Fido or Simba will also be snug as a pug in a rug in their very own KFC Christmas in July Jumper.
Customers can head to the KFC Shopify page to purchase a jumper. There’s only a limited number of these on offer, retailing for $59.95 and the pet version for $34.95 plus postage.
KFC will be donating all profits from the jumpers to its charity partners – The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia, and Whitelion.
Says Sally Spriggs, CMO at KFC Australia: “Christmas in December doesn’t always measure up to the hype we hope for, so KFC’s got you covered this year with the perfect Christmas in July celebration. We’re treating fans with food, outfits and tunes to embrace the festive cheer with the family you choose for a fun-filled celebration without being wedded to the traditions of a typical Christmas.”

Nothing says Christmas like a meal shared with your faves, so KFC has created a special Christmas in July Feast. The Feast features two new limited-edition Christmas Cranberry and Christmas Mayo Stuffing dipping sauces. This Feast is packed full of the finest selection of Kentucky Fried Chicken; including 15 pieces of Original Recipe, 12 Nuggets, 8 Wicked Wings, 1 Large Popcorn Chicken, 3 Large Chips, 1 Large Potato & Gravy and a 1.25L drink.
You can get in the Christmas in July spirit and make the most of this treat from Tuesday 12 July until Monday 8 August. Christmas has come early with Santa the Colonel throwing in free delivery when you order it via the KFC App, which is better than anything you’ll find in a Christmas cracker.
To get the Christmas in July party started, KFC has also put together a Festive Bangers Spotify playlist.

havent seen this before lol
‘Tis The Seasonings’ is fucking awesome. Awesome.
This is so dull. Been done a million times before.
Pretty sure Red Rooster are doing an exact same promo – that’s why you need to push ideas harder.
It’s nice to see the juniors are getting their award school ideas sold
What?

Merry Crispness.
Cmon lettuce isn’t that expensive that you had to cut your marketing budget
Aren’t Canadian Club doing the same thing? Think they have been for years.
Be gone with the ugly sweaters already. Doing one for a dog doesn’t make it new again.
Awesome line.
Geneneric hackneyed Christmas Trobe execution.
Keep the line and do something better.
