Kelly Boulton joins Infinity Squared; debuts with lovable spot for Blackmores via The Monkeys
Kelly Boulton (left) has joined Infinity Squared, debuting with a loveable spot for Blackmores via The Monkeys.
A member of the Australian Writer’s Guild and an established film director and creative director, Boulton’s extensive industry experience across high end commercial, TV and music projects (along with her infectious passion for her work), is a massive asset for Infinity Squared (who have released a statement confirming she is now called BOLTZ).
Boulton’s design background and her obsession with colour, texture and shape have carved out her sophisticated aesthetic style of direction. A combination of inhuman patience and perfectionism has given her a nack for stop motion animation that art directors love to sneak into her projects.
Boulton is the mastermind behind the 2015 crowd sourced ‘Animate Daniel Johns’ competition, which saw a team of 37 animators – including students from the University of Newcastle (Silverchairs hometown) and artists from NSW’s Hunter region used to animate a clip for Johns’ song ‘Going On 16’, taken from his debut solo album Talk.
Her credits also extend to the much loved Sesame Street, where she wrote and directed the musical “B is for Baby” segment, which aired on Sesame Street’s global stage in late January across over 130 countries.
