Kathryn Illy joins Australian Marketing Institute board

The Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) has announced the appointment of Kathryn Illy to its board, effective immediately.
Illy, one of Australia’s top Chief Marketing Officers, brings more than 20 years of experience across B2B and B2C marketing to her new role. Currently serving as General Manager of Consumer Marketing at Destination NSW, Illy previously held the position of Director of Brand and Marketing at PwC Australia. Her extensive background spans financial and professional services, with expertise across disciplines such as brand strategy, digital marketing, direct marketing, media, partnerships, and communications.
In addition to her professional achievements, Illy is a Certified Practising Marketer (CPM), holds a Master of Business Administration and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She also completed a Strategic Negotiations course at Harvard Business School. Illy actively contributes to the industry as a member of the AMI Professional Advancement Committee and the University of Technology Sydney School of Communications Advisory Board.
Recognised as one of Australia’s Top 50 CMOs, Illy is celebrated for her strategic, commercial, and creative approach to leadership, as well as her ability to drive results through large global teams.
