Kastner celebrates the Moon landing and the amazing Fisher Space Pen that saved Apollo 11
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the lunar landing this Monday, Kastner & Partners, Sydney has created this print and poster campaign for Fischer Space Pens.
Says Darryn Devlin, creative partner at Kastner & Partners: “The Fischer Space Pens are just a remarkable engineering feat, yet look so damn cool. To work on such an icon of modernity (the Pens are featured in New York’s MOMA) let alone to have one in your fingers, is a great pleasure. I think Sean and Cream have done a beautiful job realizing the vision.”

Space Pens.
Jesus.
And the Russians just used pencils…
I like the concept. The figures look great, they look like the Alien Ambassadors to Earth.
They kinda look more like demons than aliens.
Look great, but they seem to work better with the copy on the website
Don’t know much about the space pen, sounds cool. This ad tells me nothing about it, that’s ok, they’re eye catching ads….however guys the Aliens do look more like “Orcs” (except the first one).
Yes i know, what do Aliens really look like?
What’s a pen?
See, the problem is a lot deeper than these ads go near.
These are cool, I’ve seen them everywhere.
Do some work people.
Hey 2.25. You’re not a creative are you? Never were. Never will be.
You can’t post a blog with a pen.
Old school technology. Retro fun?
Nar! Irrelevant!
Ted, you’ve never worked in an agency have you?
Brian, It was ’66: http://www.spacepen.com/about-us.aspx
How many of the target audience find themselves constantly in outer space in need of a handsome pen?
Howard,
you “proof-read” copy, yet you don’t know the difference between your and you’re?
God help us all.
Call me old fashioned, but my Bic Biro doesn’t need to write upside down, or suffer temperatures of -400 degrees.
But then again I live on fucking planet Earth.
I don’t mind the campaign. But the problem with the site is the product shots of the pens. they are so bleak.
It is a nice looking pen but i can’t tell that from the site.
The keyboard is mightier than the pen.
