JW Foundation appoints iD Collective as communications and brand agency
Founder, developer and entrepreneur Jonathan Webber (pictured above) has announced the appointment of leading communications and brand agency iD Collective on the eve of launching the JW Foundation – an ambitiously bold, new initiative set to support Australians by redefining and modernising philanthropy. Blending innovation with purpose, the JW Foundation is committed to bringing a new eye to meaningful impacts, fundraising and advocacy to drive positive change in individuals and communities.
Over the past two decades, Webber has played a pivotal role in the development and construction of more than $3 billion worth of property across Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, and Tasmania, contributing to the creation of thousands of homes. With extensive experience in design, construction, and development through his various companies, Jonathan is deeply committed to championing causes close to his heart, including family and domestic violence, homelessness, and youth development in disadvantaged communities.
The JW Foundation is a not-for-profit foundation supporting key charities who have an incredible impact on those who then curate the wave and path for fantastic causes.
The JW Foundation’s inaugural event “Beyond the Veil” in partnership with Atlantic Group, Penfolds, and JWF’s chosen charity partner, LifeChanger, is to be held in Melbourne this Friday 22nd November.
An exclusive evening for 90 guests, to be held at the historic Sophia Arcade, Melbourne, is dedicated to enterprise, purpose and inspiration, offering invited guests an immersive experience to support LifeChanger’s mission to empower maturing minds and build resilience in young people through community-based programs and mentorship; a personal and strongly aligned charity to Webber’s own personal history. Says Webber: “I am deeply humbled to launch the JW Foundation with an event set to merge the worlds of art, elegance, and philanthropy. “Beyond the Veil” is not just a celebration of creativity but a commitment to creating lasting change through purposeful giving. We look forward to sharing this vision with our invited guests and to set the ‘foundation’ for making a tangible impact in the community.”
Says Amanda Booth-Jellis, co-founder / executive director, iD: “The JW Foundation is looking to create thought-provoking event experiences to facilitate change and fundamentally reintroduce the strategic approach of raising awareness to key causes needing our help. We are delighted to support Jonathan Webber’s vision wherever and however we can with beliefs that align closely to our own as a business of purpose.”
Says Scott Watters, founder of LifeChanger: “At LifeChanger, we believe in the power of collective action to drive real, lasting impact, and the launch of the JW Foundation is an exciting step in that direction. Jonathan (Webber)’s vision for philanthropy — one that brings together people from all walks of life to create change — aligns perfectly with our mission to transform young people’s lives.”
Proceeds from the JW Foundation’s inaugural event will directly support LifeChanger’s initiatives, helping empower the next generation with essential social and emotional skills.
