Jesus is coming to a screen near you
This Sunday 27 September marks the final phase of the Jesus. All About Life campaign when the highly anticipated TV commercial will launch on primetime TV.
Created by 303, Sydney, the TVC shows a series of paradoxes from real life and issues that are faced by people every day. The commercial deals with issues such as materialism, body image, loneliness, death and loss. Its aim is to show how Jesus is as relevant today as he ever was and prompts people to engage in a conversation about Jesus. The spot finishes with the line “Jesus has answers” and invites the audience to visit the website to find out for themselves about the relevance of Jesus today.
Says co-founder of the Jesus. All about Life campaign and Bible Society NSW CEO, Daniel Willis: “The new ad is designed to start conversations about the relevance of Jesus in a varied, cosmopolitan and multicultural society. The first and second stages of the campaign were engaging the public to say ‘Thank You’ for things that they are grateful for in life through a viral campaign. We hope the TV commercial will show people the more serious aspects to life and start them thinking about how they may consider Jesus and his message.”
The commercial will be seen across Sydney and NSW on Channel 7, 9 and 10 stations and in all Hoyts cinemas.
Says Jon McKie, Managing Director of 303: “The TV advert was designed to be more edgy and confrontational. We wanted to pose the questions that people face every day in their lives. In this way we hope the commercial connects with audience members prompting them to engage in a conversation with Jesus.”

Farking tough brief.

Yeah, Praise the Lord…..but not this ad.
You know they are desperate to arrest market share decline when they start spending money on campaigns such as this.
Personally, I think the Islamic campaign is more engaging.
Thanks for the orange dust all over my car and in my throat this morning Jesus…
Is there no place sacred from the evangelical Jehovah Mormonites?
Even advertising?
If I said this industry needs Mohommed everyone would be offended. We don’t need Jesus. We need less judgement, not more. Take your preaching somewhere else.
Is this an ad about Gary Ablett JR?… He is the son of God.
Jesus Christ, that’s awful.
ZOMG!
If the Cross didn’t kill Jesus the first time, I reckon this campaign might.
Thanks Jesus for giving us freedom of speech. Except when your blind followers deem it inappropriate.

Thank you for helping me understand I didn’t really need my career Jesus. Thank you for helping me understand I didn’t need a job, just to sell the things I own.
Oh….my….god!
Looking at that cute little bod, I need to go to Confession!
OMJ, PTL.
Save us Jeebus!
Wow, I’ve heard of Jesus’ 2nd coming, but not his 2nd crucifixion!
Has there ever been a successful religious campaign? A tough sell except to the choir.
Divorcing the subject from the production, pretty pictures though.

In the beginning was the brief, and the brief was about God.
Ah Churches. The only product sex doesn’t sell.
