Jeremy is a Sydney-based writer with a penchant for poetry. So if, by some unlikely quirk of fate, you happen to have a poetry brief, then he’s your man. But he is also available for prose-based jobs as well. Jeremys2211@gmail.com

Well said
… with that last line. Just perpetuates the narrative. Should’ve been:
“Coz no one should have to settle for less”
Yep. 100%. Stop being cheapskates. Pay people what they’re worth. Don’t be a c*nt. That goes for BRANDS as well. Don’t be a c*ntbrand.
Nice work Jeremy, I’d pay you just for reading this!
I’ve always said, even to the most junior of juniors, don’t work for free. Next time you’re asked to knock a bit off the price, as them if they’ll knock a bit off their product/service price. Or even better, their salary to make up the difference.
Had.a CD years ago getting absolutely screwed by a pro-bono charity client. He finally had enough and said, “hands up who’s currently working for free’. Ours were the only hands. Things soon changed.
Redress? Do you mean Address?
Nope he means redress. Meaning to remedy or set right (an undesirable or unfair situation).
@Nitpicker when you’re a nitpicker, but can’t English lol
Agencies still don’t get it that they are all there, dozens of them doing fuck knows what, to facilitate the end result which is work. Somehow though that’s the part they’re prepared to compromise on. Cut out half your meetings and kick those hours into creative development. You’ll have happier clients and better results.
