Jason Rose teams with his brother Eden to launch planning and buying platform, Adboss
Former Samuelson Talbot copywriter Jason Rose has launched an online platform – www.adboss.com.au – that provides advertisers with a one-stop solution for planning and buying advertising cost-effectively.
The platform – that covers print and online publishers, TV and radio broadcasters – has beenbuilt with patented technology developed by Adboss, an Australian-owned and operated company based in Melbourne.
Adboss said it had already signed more than 100 advertisers to its new online platformacross a wide range of industry sectors including retail; hospitality andtravel; property; manufacturing; and professional, business and medicalservices.
Adboss was founded by brothers Jason and Eden Rose. Jason Rose worked as a copywriter during the 2000s at Melbourne agencies including Samuelson Talbot, day&age, cummins&partners and M&C Saatchi.
They have developed Adboss to remove the uncertainty often experienced by companies when planning and buying their advertising without a media agency.
Adboss joint managing director, Jason Rose, said: “Our platform delivers better outcomes for advertisers while saving them time. Adboss gives advertisers the tools theyneed to make smarter advertising decisions and secure the most competitiveproposals from media companies.”
Co-founder and joint managing director Eden Rose added: “It’s all about confidence. We’ve developed this platform so businesses can make professional media buyingdecisions quickly and easily. With Adboss, advertisers can identify the bestvalue for their ad budgets and confidently buy their advertising.”
The Adboss platform, which is free for advertisers to use, guides advertisers through theentire advertising process. It provides them with tools to select the mostrelevant media brands for a given target audience as well as tools toprofessionally and confidentially brief media brands through the platform.
These live advertising briefs are delivered through Adboss directly to the advertiser’schosen media companies. The process is essentially a tender in which theadvertiser’s invited media brands are given the opportunity to confidentiallyrespond through the platform with their best proposal, including all relevantcosts.
Only the advertiser sees the responses to their brief and can make informed choicesbased not only on cost, but on a variety of other criteria available to themthrough the Adboss platform, including easy-to-understand audience figures aswell as insight into more intangible attributes such as media companies’brands.
Director of TextaStar.com, Ryan Berman said: “What Adboss does really well is help businesses make sense of the advertising landscape. Take online for example. There are just so many websites out there it is difficult to know where to putyour advertising dollars. Adboss gives you a really accurate snapshot of thesites that are relevant to your target audience and then makes it simple to goon and do business with them.”
