The Facebook pages each carry custom built applications designed to encourage engagement and increase frequency of interactions with the brand through social media. The Facebook pages are managed by Reprise Media including content plans and community management.

The Jack Daniel’s Australia page focuses on the core brand with angles including access to the JD Set for music and live concerts, as well as a month-long application game called Jacktember, celebrating Jack Daniel’s 161st birthday. The Jacktember application has been experiencing phenomenal engagement rates with conversion rates of 26% and share rates of 40%, and more than 200 entries each day.

Gentleman Jack has also launched into social media with a Facebook page designed to focus on the art of being a gentleman, based on the insight that there was a gap in the market for content for the modern Australian man. The custom application lets men discover the kind of gentleman they are through an interactive and light hearted quiz, and share it with their friends on Facebook.

“We find there is a huge appetite for local social communities for Brown Forman brands,” said Amy McDonnell, social marketing manager at Reprise Media. “The passion and energy of Jack Daniel’s fans is just huge, and now we are giving them an outlet to share their love online.”
