Independent hybrid – content powerhouse 3P Studio Group has delivered a cinematic launch campaign for Isuzu’s first-ever electric pickup, showcasing the power of true end-to-end creative delivery on an international stage.

The ambitious scope of the campaign had unique challenges, coordinating the logistics of a confidential vehicle from inner city Thailand to Australia’s rugged terrain, in a cross-continental collaboration that demonstrates 3P’s unique full-service model.

Creatively, the campaign draws on Isuzu’s unique Japanese heritage and takes the lens of the Japanese philosophy of five elements to frame the Isuzu D-Max EV. Rather than leaning into legacy, the campaign positions the electric ute launch as a defining moment — shifting focus from where Isuzu has been to where it’s heading. Their first electric consumer and commercial pickup becomes the vehicle for this transformation, representing not just product evolution but the brand’s strategic repositioning for the electric era.

The campaign combines the production expertise of Spry Films with the post-production firepower of 3P Post under one creative roof.

Says Executive Producer Damion Tiernan: “We knew this campaign needed scale and soul. A project like this demands a precise and dynamic production process, and our ability to deliver that across countries while maintaining creative integrity is what sets us apart.” Leading the charge was Jolyon Watkins, one of the country’s top automotive directors. With a portfolio spanning iconic global car brands, Watkins brought unmatched technical insight and visual mastery—balancing bold action with refined storytelling that captures the electric vehicle’s market entry.

Creating something for the global market added an extra layer of complexity.

Says Creative Director and VFX Supervisor Caleb De Leon: “It really challenges you to push your creative thinking to a different level. Every decision gets filtered through this lens of universal communication—will this make sense when translated to another language? To another culture? It forces you to rely on clear visual storytelling and strip back to the absolute core of what you’re trying to say.”

The campaign’s success came down to seamless collaboration with IMIT Global, Isuzu’s international marketing team in Thailand. Their willingness to give a strong vision and support bold ideas made them exceptional partners, enabling 3P to push boundaries while meeting global brand standards.

Says 3P Studio Group CEO Haley McDonald: “This campaign exemplifies what we do best—bringing creative, craft, and delivery under one roof. From early creative to the final sound mix, we controlled the process end-to-end, and the result is a global launch we’re incredibly proud of.”

The launch film anchors a comprehensive suite including global TVCs, digital cutdowns, and social assets—all produced through 3P’s end-to-end capabilities.
