INTERNATIONALLY ACCLAIMED AUSSIE COMEDY DIRECTOR YIANNI WARNOCK JOINS DIVISION

Warnock’s storytelling explores the unexpected within the ordinary, blending conceptually driven humour with love of craft. His unique voice and eye for detail has seen ad land success, collaborating with names like Optus, Hungry Jacks, AGL and Samsung.

Warnock’s short films ‘The Despair Trilogy’ take a darkly comedic plunge into the depths of modern alienation, its finale ‘Homebodies’ reaching international spotlight with a premiere at Clermont Ferrand, Grand Prix prize at the Sapporo International Film Festival and Best Comedy at St Kilda Film festival. The film was also nominated for an AACTA award before having its official online release on Nowness.

Warnock is a character driven director, whose work focuses on finding truely refreshing faces and pushing their performances to new heights. Aside from TVC’s, he’s currently developing his first feature film.
