Innocean Australia appoints Ben Greenslade in the role of head of sponsorship and events
CB Exclusive – Ex-DDB Mango group account director Ben Greenslade has joined Innocean as head of sponsorship and events. At Mango, he led the DDB Group’s sponsorship team on Volkswagen along with leading major experiential campaigns for McDonald’s and Westpac.
Prior to joining Mango, Greenslade’s sponsorship experience in the UK included major sports properties including The Olympic Games, The Ryder Cup, Formula 1, the London Marathon and Chelsea FC.
Says Peter Fitzhardinge, CEO, Innocean: “Ben is a great hire for us. I’ve been looking for someone who can lead our portfolio of sponsorships and events, arguably Australia’s finest. From the Kia Australian Open Tennis, The Hyundai A- League to Sculpture by the Sea, there is not a lot we don’t touch. It’s a great area to play in for any agency. While we have done well up to now, with Ben, we have the person who will really help us push harder and deliver an even higher level of outstanding work.”
Says Greenslade: “From the time I first met Fitzy, I was excited about the opportunity to work with him and our new ECD Dave King and to be a part of what they are doing at Innocean. I’m looking forward to working on Hyundai and Kia. They have sponsorship portfolios that are the envy of many brands with the likes of the Hyundai A- League and Kia’s Major Sponsorship of the Australian Open.”

@its not advertising. Your post really makes you sound like an idiot. Maybe even a hater. But definitely a tool. Well done Ben. In a world where brands sponsor things, you’re meant to be good at it. And well done Innocean for getting Ben.
