Independent full-service marketing agency The Pistol announces Chloe Lane as new CEO

The Pistol, a full-service marketing agency that combines creativity, technology, and performance to deliver measurable growth, has today announced the appointment of Chloe Lane (above right) as CEO.

Lane’s appointment comes following long-time CEO, Jaime Nosworthy (above left), announcing her resignation after a decade at The Pistol. She will remain at the agency for the next few months, working closely with Lane to ensure a seamless transition.

Lane is a proven transformation leader with 20-plus years’ experience across agency, client-side and tech businesses in the Australian and global markets. She has held senior leadership roles at Genero, Woolworths Group, and Hogarth (WPP), helping organisations evolve their marketing models, scale operations, and drive growth.

Says Nosworthy: “The Pistol is ready to enter its next chapter, building on the incredible success over the last 14 years. I am so grateful for my 10-year journey in this business, working and collaborating with world-class talent and client partners.

“I am thrilled to hand the reins to Chloe. She has decades of experience leading meaningful strategic shifts while maintaining a people-led approach. Our transition will be careful and collaborative to ensure we maintain the great momentum we have experienced in 2025 so far.”
