In Marketing We Trust’s Paul Hewett joins Asthma Australia Digital + Data Advisory Committee

Paul Hewett, CEO of leading integrated digital agency, In Marketing We Trust, has been appointed to Asthma Australia’s Digital and Data Advisory Committee. This exciting collaboration allows Hewett to support Asthma Australia in driving meaningful impact through digital and data-driven initiatives.
Asthma Australia is on a mission to halve potentially preventable asthma hospitalisations by 2030. This can only be achieved by harnessing digital and data-enabled solutions to improve health outcomes for people with asthma.
The Digital and Data Advisory Committee (DDAC) supports this mission by providing expert advice, information and recommendations on the latest in digital health and data technologies. Hewett will be advising on trends in digital health, including Generative AI, providing expertise on future technologies in the digital space, as well as guiding the development and implementation of Asthma Australia’s Digital Health Strategy.
Says Louise Schaper, Chair of DDAC: “Nearly 2.8 million Australians have asthma and Asthma Australia understands the criticality of digital and data innovation to transform their lives. The establishment of the Digital and Data Advisory Committee will contribute to our mission and I’m thrilled to be working with such a talented and experienced group of people.”
Hewett has over 20 years experience in digital, having founded and led multiple successful data and digital businesses, working with enterprise brands such as Airbus, eBay, Expedia, and Salesforce. Paul specialises in driving measurable commercial performance, optimising marketing effectiveness, and leveraging data to achieve tangible results in competitive markets.
Under his leadership, In Marketing We Trust has been recognised as one of Australia’s most innovative firms by the Australian Financial Review for its commercial applications of Machine Learning and AI in digital marketing.
Hewett has extensive experience advising businesses on integrating data-driven strategies and meeting data privacy and governance requirements. He played an active role during the development of GDPR, helping organisations navigate new regulatory frameworks, and continues to provide strategic guidance on compliance in today’s evolving digital landscape.
He has chaired the UK’s Direct Marketing Association (West Country) and serves on IAB Australia’s Data Council, contributing to best practices for leveraging data responsibly in digital marketing.
Says Hewett: “I am honoured to join Asthma Australia’s Digital and Data Advisory Committee. As a parent of a child with asthma who has been hospitalised multiple times, I deeply resonate with their mission to halve potentially preventable asthma hospitalisations by 2030.
“With rapid advancements in digital technologies, such as large language models, and shifting data privacy regulations, we have an incredible opportunity to drive meaningful change. At In Marketing We Trust, we are at the forefront of leveraging these innovations for global brands, and I look forward to bringing this expertise to the committee to help Asthma Australia achieve its vision and improve outcomes for people living with asthma.”
