“I’m Not Crying, I’m Just Cutting Onions”: Tommy Little Launches Hilarious New Talk Show Where Tears and Laughter Get Sliced Up Together

| | No Comments

Aussies tend to put on a brave face and pretend everything is alright… for many, particularly men, crying is a sign of weakness. That’s why the new show “I’m not crying… I’m just cutting onions”, that classic phrase many Aussies use to hide their emotions, is here to normalise being in touch with your sad side, while also having a boat load of fun.

“I’m not crying, I’m just cutting onions”, is equal parts hilarious and emotional as guests reveal parts of themselves that have never been talked about before. Are they crying with laughter, crying with sadness, or just crying because of the onions? You be the judge!

Already the first 3 shorts have amassed 300,000+ views, and with many more to come it is sure to build from there.

The show’s concept was developed by advertising veteran Alex Wadelton with Australian comedian, writer, actor, television and radio presenter Tommy Little, with production company Guilty coming on board to bring it to life.

The first four episodes feature household names like comedians Nazeem Hussain and Dave Hughes, along with TV and radio royalty Carrie Bickmore, as well as Tommy’s long-suffering and quite insane house mate Jonny “Longballs”. More big-names are already lined top for future episodes.

Expect laughs, tears, and onions flying everywhere. It’s raw, ridiculous, and exactly what you never knew you needed in a talk show.
