iD Collective appoints Alexandra Rutman to the newly created role of Head of Communications

iD Collective, one of Australia’s largest independent communications agencies, has announced the appointment of Alexandra Rutman as its Head of Communications. This newly created leadership role comes as iD Collective continues its significant growth following its 2024 merger with Noisy Beast Group.
With an impressive career spanning public relations, marketing, and partnerships, Rutman will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing iD Collective’s communications strategy. Her expertise will further enhance the agency’s client-first approach, which is driven by return on investment and executed by a team of former strategic marketers. Rutman’s appointment also aligns with iD Collective’s commitment to strengthening in-house production capabilities while maintaining cost efficiencies for both existing and future clients.
“As we continue to scale, it’s essential that we invest in the right talent to drive our next phase of growth,” says Amanda Booth, Executive Director of iD Collective. “Alexandra’s extensive experience in luxury lifestyle PR and major event campaigns makes her an incredible asset to our team. Her deep understanding of brand strategy and strong industry relationships will be invaluable in delivering high-impact results for our clients.”
Rutman’s career includes leadership roles as Head of PR and Partnerships at JKLP and Head of PR and Communications at 3 Degrees Marketing. She has worked with prestigious brands such as Gucci, NET-A-PORTER, IWC, Peroni Nastro Azzurro, Stella Artois, and Mr & Mrs Smith. Her experience also extends to high-profile events, including the Australian Open, Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix (2018 and 2019), and the Portsea Polo.
Rutman will be based across iD Collective’s Sydney and Melbourne offices, reinforcing the agency’s focus on national growth and innovation.
“Since our merger with iD Collective, we’ve experienced remarkable expansion, driven by our symbiotic model that integrates creative, content production, media amplification, and social strategy,” says David Brown, Managing Director of Noisy Beast Group. “Alexandra’s leadership will further enhance our ability to deliver dynamic, results-driven campaigns. We’re excited to welcome her on board and look forward to the impact she’ll make.”
With Rutman at the helm of communications, iD Collective continues its mission to deliver strategic, high-performing solutions for brands, cementing its position as a leader in the industry.
