History Will Be Kind promotes Edwina Brook to newly-created Managing Director role

Building on its 10-year track record as one of the region’s leading independent communications agencies, and now a B Corp certified business, History Will Be Kind (HWBK) is setting up for its next era with the elevation of Edwina Brook to the newly created role of Managing Director.

 

Working alongside Founder & CEO, EJ Granleese, from the agency’s infancy to today, Brook has played a fundamental role in shaping the work, team and reputation of HWBK. In her new position, she will steward and build the brand through a key inflection point in history, as the global communications landscape dramatically shifts and the agency moves into its second decade in market.

An award-winning business and strategic communications leader, Brook brings with her more than 15 years’ integrated consulting experience across sectors, disciplines and channels. Known for building collaborative, high-performing teams, long-term client partnerships and new products and services – across influencer, social impact, executive training, generative AI and search – Brook has also been a driving force behind HWBK’s work, marrying creative excellence with reputation building impact and measurable business results.

The appointment will see Brook work closely with Granleese to optimise HWBK’s broader offer as part of the Deepend Group – a collective of independent agencies spanning Customer-Led Technology & Design (Deepend) and Product & Service Innovation (How to Impact).
