Heide Museum of Modern Art enlists creative studio SIRAP as exclusive motion partner

In a unique and industry-forward partnership full-service creative studio SIRAP has been selected by Heide Museum of Modern Art as its exclusive motion partner for 2022 and 2023.

The partnership entails SIRAP producing a series of content over the coming year, commencing with vignettes for the Melbourne-based museum’s newly launched website.

SIRAP will also produce a curator insight series, which takes a step behind the scenes providing viewers with a unique curatorial perspective on how the exhibition was designed and considered, to accompany the museum’s exhibition program. This includes motion content for the launch of the much-anticipated and highly renowned exhibition Barbara Hepworth: In Equilibrium, which SIRAP commenced working on late last year.

Founded in 2013 by award-winning creative director Paris Thomson, SIRAP is an independent creative studio producing best-in-class campaigns for some of Australia’s most prestigious and recognisable brands. The studio comprises a dedicated full-time, in-house team of nearly 20 producers, directors, cinematographers and editors, all with a vision to create visual experiences that change how people think, feel, act, and talk about brands through the power of film and visual content.

Says Thomson: “Over the years, I have spent many hours wandering the grounds of the beautiful Heide and exploring the many exhibitions they have presented, so I am extremely proud that SIRAP has been named the official content partner for such a distinctive and important art institution.

“I have always looked to support projects that I feel passionate about, and as a lover of the arts, I am incredibly excited to collaborate with the Heide team to produce content synonymous with their values and vision. It is a privilege to support Australia’s arts and cultural fabric, helping to celebrate the exceptional modern and contemporary art exhibitions at one of Victoria’s most renowned museums.”

Says Lesley Harding, artistic director, Heide Museum of Modern Art: “We are delighted to partner with SIRAP, a production studio that has many synergies with the artistic vision of the museum and that is synonymous with inspiring, thoughtful and sophisticated moving image content.”

SIRAP will also produce motion content for upcoming exhibitions Catherine Opie: Binding Ties and Surrealist Lee Miller and other brand content for the museum.
